Former MA Student
In the latest research that I have conducted and reviewed in my MA thesis, I combined two of my major interests: cinematography and perception. I am the first student in a program which combines cognitive studies in HUJI with arts studies in Bezalel Academy. Accordingly, I sought to research one focal point of the fields’ intersection: the realm of color psychology. I focused on color-palettes related conventions in the film world, and their established associations with cinematic genres. I am interested in further researching the impact of the color-palettes on audiences’ experiences, and to further develop means to “utilize color” to convey/enhance distinct semantic messages.
