My research work examines the effect of non-conscious goal pursuit on emotions. In different studies we have shown that non-conscious goal pursuit directs people’s emotion in goal-compatible ways. My dissertation work (under the supervision of Ruth Mayo and Yaacov Schul) explores the role of imaginary memories in the process of self- deception.
